Featuring an FOC Based Force Feedback Motor
The students will be introducing themselves, their parents, and presenting their projects to everyone.
They will be given a commemorative gift and a small monetary award by Herb Harpster and John Mihevic.

About the Technical Program:
Did you know that Ohio-born Thomas Edison was not the exclusive inventor of the incandescent light bulb?
Mr. Edison's invention, and several other inventors and their inventions, will be discussed along with some
technical details related to the inventions.
About the Speaker:
Before his retirement in 2022, James Valli had a 55 year career in electrical, instrumentation, and automation
engineering. He moved to Cleveland and, in 1967, started work as an electrical design draftsman with Arthur
G. McKee and Company. During the ensuing technology and computing revolution, Mr. Valli has worked for
engineering contractors, operating companies, and automation suppliers including his last 17 years with
Rockwell Automation.
